Axios recently reported, in an article written by Sara Fischer, that Dan Abrams is currently raising money for his new media startup, Bottle Raiders.

It is a media company that aggregates and pens its own reviews of liquor. Bottle Raiders aims to become the largest multi-platform spirits media business in the nation, Axios reported.

Bottle Raiders is Abrams’s latest entrepreneurial endeavor. Among them are Law&Crime network (sold to Jellysmack in 2023 for a 9-figure deal) and news site Mediaite. Abrams told Axios he has never raised money for Mediaite; the site is profitable, and he does not plan to sell

As he revealed to Fischer, Abrams is applying the same strategies that have made his other companies a success to Bottle Raiders: “That strategy includes picking a niche subject and investing in cross-platform coverage without raising too much cash, if any.”

Abrams, who also owns his own vineyard on Long Island’s North Fork, Ev&Em Vineyards, is still  on-air as ABC’s Chief Legal Analyst; host of his own SiriusXM show, “The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets the Law”; host of On Patrol: Live on Reelz; and host of Court Cam on A&E.

He has quietly been building up Bottle Raiders for the past few years.

In 2024, Bottle Raiders acquired two events businesses: Arte Agave and Whiskey Washback. The company is currently expanding the locations and quantity of its events.

This past June, Bottle Raiders also launched an app that allows users to catalog premium spirits using their phone camera, providing them with access to liquor and reviews and ratings with Bottle Raiders’ global aggregator of premium spirit reviews.

As Bottle Raiders continues to grow, come September the company is set to launch the largest non-alcoholic wellness festival in the country. It will feature zero-proof spirits from more than 30 brands.
