Ev&Em “Everett” Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Released

Dan Abrams’ Ev&Em Vineyards is kicking off the holiday season in a delicious way, with the release of their “Everett” Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.

Named after his son, this 2022 vintage is Ev&Em’s first effort at a true luxury wine that competes with the finest red wines in the country.

This newly released reserve is expressive and irresistible on the nose with notes of blackberry, black cherry, baking spices and green peppercorn that sing.

Its palate offers generous notes of black currant, fig paste and toasted oak with a velveteen tannin and elegant acidity matched only by the powerful body. The finish shines with concentrated notes of black current and a mineral-driven, graphite edge.

The 2022 growing season was marked by a long, warm, dry summer, providing the ideal growing conditions that contributed to this fantastic vintage.

Located on the North Fork of Long Island, Abrams purchased the property in 2021 and has since completely renovated and reimagined it.

The vineyard has the benefit of possessing some of the oldest vines in the area, and has shifted to fully sustainable farming practices, having received certification from both the New York Wine and Grape Foundation and Long Island Sustainable Winegrowing.

Next up, the Emilia Reserve Bordeaux Blend, named after his daughter, will launch in Spring 2025.
