The Daily Pour Acquires Whiskey Riot

The Daily Pour has acquired Whiskey Riot, making it the largest producer of whiskey festivals in the U.S.

This marks The Daily Pour’s third acquisition in 24 months. The platform now has four festival and event brands, including Whiskey Washback, Arte Agave, and Drinks with Benefits, the company’s non-alcoholic festivals.

The Daily Pour has at least 30 events scheduled for 2027, doubling its 2026 slate. “Founded in 2024 by media entrepreneur and TV personality Dan Abrams, The Daily Pour has now assembled a multi-category festival portfolio while building a parallel media ecosystem that includes a spirits app, newsletter, and a creator network with over 2.5 million followers,” BevNET stated in an article covering the acquisition.

The Daily Pour is the only platform in the country where a spirits or beverage brand can activate nationally — across events, content, and commerce — under one roof,” founder Dan Abrams said in an article reposted by Yahoo! Finance. “With the addition of Whiskey Riot, an exceptional brand with a loyal following, we are accelerating our growth and strengthening our position as the nation’s dominant drinks event platform.”

This purchase comes at a time when whiskey sales are experiencing unprecedented turmoil, Inc. reports. The business model of simply putting more whiskey on shelves is no longer helping distilleries make a higher profit.

But The Daily Pour has found a way to keep the spark in the industry going. Inc. reported, “By pivoting heavily into the festival space, the Daily Pour is capitalizing on a fundamental shift in modern drinking habits: Consumers are buying fewer bottles, but they are still willing to pay a premium for in-person experiences.”

“People are craving real community and for spirits brands, that makes events one of the most beneficial and cost-effective marketing channels available,” Andrew Eisbrouch, President of The Daily Pour, told BevNET. “These are proven revenue models with established sponsor relationships that have never had the marketing firepower, media reach, or operational scale to grow,” Eisbrouch said. “We can provide all of that while keeping the teams and traditions that made them successful in the first place.”

Bobby Finan, who founded Whiskey Riot, said, “We built Whiskey Riot to celebrate the best of American whiskey culture, and The Daily Pour is the right home to carry that forward. Their infrastructure, brand relationships, and national reach will elevate what Whiskey Riot can offer consumers and sponsors alike. We’re excited to be part of the team.”
