21 Jan Mediaite Launches New Daily Subscription Newsletter

The New York Times reported on the news that Mediaite is creating its own media newsletter that aggregates media news from other media newsletters. Yes – you read that correctly.
Mediaite’s One Sheet – a five-minute briefing featuring the hottest scoops and sharpest analyses across each day’s media newsletter – was released today. Every weekday, the team at Mediaite will sift through the dozens of media newsletters and pull out the important and interesting takes. “There is definitely a level of meta here,” Mediaite’s founder, Dan Abrams, said in an interview with the New York Times. “We are well aware of the circular nature of this endeavor.”
Pulling from various newsletters and substacks such as Status, Breaker Media, Reliable Sources, Newsbusters, and Emily Sundberg’s Feed Me, “One Sheet, led by Mediaite founding editor Colby Hall,” reported the Times, “is expected to be published on weekdays at 11 a.m. A subscription costs $8 a month or $80 a year (which includes an ad free experience on mediaite.com)”

If you find your inbox cluttered by the increasing amount of emails from an overwhelming number of newsletters and various subscriptions, then One Sheet is for you. All the news you need to know, all in one place.
“We are overwhelmed,” Abrams told the New York Times. “We’re not trying to take away the newsletter business, we’re trying to highlight the ones that are most interesting.” Abrams also stated that he hopes readers will be exposed to sources they may otherwise not know about.
