Dan anchored Nightline on January 8th in an episode that focused on the Fukushima nuclear plant.  The plant is one of the most toxic places on the planet and Nightline was given rare access to Japan’s shuttered power plant and surrounding areas. Says Dan, ” Tonight we take you to one of most toxic places on earth, the still crippled Fukushima Nuclear Plant.  It’s closed to the public and for the few who gain access, it’s still a place you can only visit with the uptmost precaution, covered head to tow in protective gear, limited time because anymore than an hour there can cause permanent damage.
