16 Oct ‘On Patrol: Live’ Hits its 300th Episode on Reelz
Variety Magazine reported that this past weekend “On Patrol: Live” hit an incredible milestone – its 300th episode on Reelz. The cast and crew celebrated with a look back at the show’s most intense and memorable moments.

Variety writer Michael Schneider reported that the show has so far ridden with 36 departments and sheriff’s offices across the country, helped find 46 missing individuals via the show’s weekly “Missing” segments, and helped track down 82 fugitives through its “BOLO (Be on the Lookout)” segments.
“Our viewers – ‘OP Nation’ – are the absolute backbone of the show, and their passion and support for the series are the reason we’re at episode 300,” said Dan Abrams in his interview with Variety. “Maybe more importantly, we’ve been able to galvanize that community to help recover dozens of missing people and track down over 80 fugitives, and that is something I’m really proud to be part of.”
According to Variety, Reelz has seen its ratings skyrocket since “On Patrol: Live” launched in July 2022; earlier this year, the cabler renewed “On Patrol: Live” and its spin-off “On Patrol: First Shift” through the start of 2026, which you can read about here.
Abrams is joined on the show by analyst Captain Tom Rizzo of the Howell Township Police Department, N.J., Deputy Sheriff Curtis Wilson of Richland County Sheriff’s Department, S.C., and retired Tulsa Police Department Sgt. Sean “Sticks” Larkin.
“This show has come to be more than just a job for me,” Abrams told Variety. “Yes, it’s a really fun series to work on, but I also think it’s so important to offer a window into what police officers do and see across America on a daily basis. It’s the only show in the country that regularly gives viewers a true sense of what a night out on patrol really looks like.”
To commemorate the 300th episode, Abrams has a field trip this weekend to one of the departments “On Patrol: Live” follows, The Daytona Beach Police Department (Fla.),.
